Our Membership

The American Refractive Surgery Council (ARSC) is comprised of industry representatives and medical professionals, working together to ensure that people who are considering refractive surgery can make decisions that are right for them – decisions based on the most accurate information available.

ARSC provides a forum for the discussion of all issues related to refractive surgery in the U.S. We support clinically accurate and productive discussions with current and prospective patients, medical professionals and educators, legislators, the media and the refractive surgery industry. Our activities include education, research and community outreach.

The members of ARSC are:

  • Alcon
  • Bausch + Lomb
  • Johnson & Johnson Vision
  • Zeiss
  • Ziemer
  • Surgeons from the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS)
  • Surgeons from the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS)
